The Ontario Shoe Travellers Association was founded in 1967 to support the unique needs of travelling sales representatives across the industry. With vision and determination, our founders created a regional association built on connection, collaboration, and a shared commitment to helping colleagues — and the industry itself — thrive.
Today, as AFA Canada, we proudly carry that spirit forward. While the industry has grown to include footwear, apparel, and accessories, our foundation remains the same: community, support, and a passion for the people who make this business move.
We honour the leaders who came before us and laid the groundwork for what we are today. Their vision continues to guide us as we build the next chapter for our industry.
